Ошибка установки sshfs в Ubuntu

ошибка: E: Package ‘sshfs’ has no installation candidate

при установке пакета:

apt install sshfs

возвращает ошибку:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package sshfs is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'sshfs' has no installation candidate

ошибка вызвана из-за того, что данный пакет был перемещен в репозиторий universe

нужно добавить репозиторий universe:

apt-add-repository universe

теперь можно устанавливать sshfs:

apt install sshfs
